Saturday 31 October 2026 saw another fantastic NSADR social drive out, bringing together NSADR members and a wonderfully varied collection of vehicles for a memorable day on the road.

Starting in Leek, the group set off on a carefully planned route through some of the region’s most beautiful countryside, eventually making their way to the ever-popular Quackers Café. Along the way, members experienced a diverse mix of roads, from winding country lanes to scenic rural routes, all showcasing the stunning autumn landscape.

Of course, no great drive out would be complete without a few unexpected challenges. Unforeseen road diversions, cyclists and several unplanned route adaptations kept drivers and navigators on their toes throughout the day. However, these unexpected moments only added to the adventure and highlighted the spirit of camaraderie among the group.

The variety of vehicles on display made for an impressive sight, and the excellent turnout demonstrated the enthusiasm and passion that continue to make NSADR such a welcoming community.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the day such a success. Despite the occasional detour and a few surprises along the way, it proved to be an enjoyable, challenging and thoroughly memorable event for all involved.

We look forward to seeing everyone again on the next drive out!
