An Evening with Paul Sims and MJ Ladybiker 2026

Thank You for a Fantastic Evening

An Evening with Paul Sims and MJ Ladybiker

An Evening with Paul Sims and MJ Ladybiker

On Thursday, 26 February 2026, members joined NSADR for an inspiring evening in support of Make Your Mark Charity and the Bike & Brew Passport initiative.

Paul Sims shared the powerful story behind Motorbiker Acts of Random Kindness and the impact the charity is making in supporting mental health within the biking community.

Thank you to everyone who attended, asked questions, purchased passports, and helped make the evening such a success.

We would really value your feedback to help us shape future events.

Building Safer Roads / ADI Presentation 2026

Thanks to Ian Kinder and Mike Morris for presenting the NSADR Advanced Driving & Riding course to our local Approved Driving Instructors (ADIs). Your expertise and insights were greatly appreciated by all who attended, and it was inspiring to see so many ADIs eager to learn more about NSADR. We hope this marks the beginning of a strong and lasting partnership, working together to support safer roads for everyone.

Let’s Talk Tyres 2026

Thank you to everyone who attended our recent workshop on Thursday, 29th January, about tyres and basic repairs. A special thanks to Ian Tollett, Technical Manager, Gareth Mansell, and Alex from Bike Tyre Sales and for delivering such informative presentations, and to Roz and Daz for organising the event.

The session provided a great overview of tyre safety, including tyre pressures, damage, and puncture repairs, as well as insights into how tyres are manufactured and new products coming to the market.

We hope everyone found the workshop useful and engaging, and we look forward to seeing you at future events.

Festive Fun: Very Merry January 2026

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for Festive Fun: Very Merry January on Sunday, 25 January!

We’d also like to extend a special thanks to Neil Theobald, Ian Kinder, and Phil McCue for their fantastic efforts in organising the event at The Lymedale. Your hard work ensured everything ran smoothly and everyone had a wonderful time.

Highly Recommended NSADR Event: A warm and friendly welcome from the NSADR members, attentive staff, and delicious, well-priced food. The table settings were attractive, creating a lovely dining experience. I had the pleasure of sharing a table with Terry, who was delightful company. I thoroughly enjoyed the event and would highly recommend this restaurant (Kathy).

Awards & Competency Evening 2025

Thursday 16 October, 2025 – The Wade Conference Centre

We came together to celebrate the achievements of our Associate Drivers and Riders, National Observers, and a Masters Driver. The event was a fantastic opportunity to recognise the hard work, commitment, and progress shown across our community.

Dave Cox, our Area Service Delivery Manager, led the presentations, awarding certificates to Members and National Observers in recognition of their accomplishments. Many inspiring stories were shared throughout the evening, and Dylan showcased his recent Young Driver Experience.

To conclude the event, Jeremy Cadman hosted a presentation on Goals for Driver Education and the competencies that driver & rider training should focus on to produce the safest possible drivers & riders.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the evening such a success!

Vehicle Detailing Presentation 2025

Thank you to everyone who came along to The Art and Science of Vehicle Detailing: A Professional Perspective
Thursday, 25 September 2025 – NSADR, 7:30–9:00pm

A big thank you to everyone who joined us for this special evening. We were delighted to welcome NSADR member Roz Milford, who shared her extensive expertise from both her professional training and her experience as a detailing business owner.

Roz’s presentation gave us a practical and insightful look at what it takes to keep vehicles looking their best. Attendees learned about:

  • Deep Cleaning Fundamentals – how to safely remove road grime, brake dust, and tar for a flawless finish.
  • Paint Protection Science – understanding waxes, sealants, and polishes, and knowing when to use each.
  • Corrosion Prevention – techniques to protect against winter road salt and long-term storage damage.
  • Minor Paint Correction – restoring paintwork by addressing small imperfections.

The evening also featured a showcase of professional-grade tools and products, offering a hands-on opportunity to see the equipment that professionals rely on.

Thank you once again for your participation in what proved to be an engaging and informative session
