Roz’s IAM RoadSmart journey

I fell in love with motorcycling after taking a pillion trip through Arizona and into Utah — despite having had no previous interest in motorcycles at all.

When I returned home, I completed my CBT, bought my first bike, and quickly realised I wanted to become an instructor. I went on to qualify and spent several years working full-time as a CBT and DAS instructor — a role I thoroughly enjoyed.

Today, my passion is helping riders develop their advanced riding skills. Reaching the standard I now ride at did not come easily; it took time, commitment, and plenty of hard work. That experience helps me understand the challenges riders face, and I enjoy supporting others as they build confidence, improve their skills, and become safer, more capable riders.
