Paul’s IAM RoadSmart journey

I joined the Group in 2017 after more than 40 years as both a car driver and motorcycle rider, confident that I was a safe and competent road user. Signing up for an advanced driving course quickly showed me how out of date my skills had become — a real eye-opener. I only wish I had taken the course 30 years earlier instead of waiting so long to discover just how much I had to improve. I would wholeheartedly recommend the IAM RoadSmart advanced driver and rider courses to people of all ages. Passing my advanced driving test, and later achieving my National Observer qualification, has made me a far more confident, safer, and more competent road user.
